Now a sitcom and film producer, Troy's career began as a performer. He has starred on Broadway in the musical RENT, appeared on Starsearch, and toured the world as a performer. His original musical compositions and soulful baritone voice can be heard on soundtracks for numerous TV shows and films, including NBC's The Sing-Off, as well as advertisements for everything from Gillette to Pilsbury. During his career he found himself negotiating performance contracts, both with and without the help of his agent. After multiple failures he decided that it was time to take matters into his own hands and learn how to negotiate with the best of them.
It was then that Troy immersed himself in business training, studying sales techniques, closing techniques, body language, and the art of building rapport. The further he dove in, the more he found that he was using the same tools in business that he had used to become a Broadway star, or to land a lead role on a successful television show.
Troy was excited to discover that the skills he had carefully and consciously built in his performing career were now beautifully combining with his extensive study of body language and business sales, making it possible to successfully navigate hard-ball negotiations in business deals. The same tools used to win over tough audiences were successful in creating an immediate positive rapport with business clients, and ultimately led to positive negotiation outcomes.
Troy looks forward to sharing these tools with you! If you are afraid of speaking in front of large crowds and want to learn how to get them on your side, or if you would like to know what your client is really thinking behind the "safe" language, then this course is for you.
