Arrival and Departure Times

• Acting Classes begin & end on time. Please plan transportation accordingly.

• If you do arrive late, please slip in quietly as a classmate may be recording.

Attendance

• Acting Classes in the CSA Certificate Program meet for 11 weeks each quarter. The maximum number of absences in order to get credit for the quarter is 2, meaning you must be present a minimum of 9 times.
• If you miss a 3rd class due to unavoidable circumstances, you may make it up by attending a Weekly Workshop class.
• If you miss a 4th class, you must repeat the quarter. You will be notified that your continuing in the program will depend on your performance in the next quarter.
• Special exceptions for work (filming a movie, traveling to LA for episodic season, etc.) or family emergency are granted based on individual review.
  
• Any time you miss a class, it is your responsibility to catch up and be prepared for the following week.
  

Family, Friends, and Prospective Students

• Parents assume full responsibility for their children’s safety at all times.

• Parents may wait in the reception area, or drop off and pick up.
• No in-class observation is allowed as it interrupts the safe, collaborative atmosphere of class.
• Only currently enrolled students may participate in class.

Payment Policies and Methods

• Tuition must be paid by automatic withdrawals from your debit card or credit card.
• If you prefer to pay by check or cash, you simply need to pay for the full quarter in advance.
  
• In the event a cancellation is necessary, any tuition refund will be pro-rated, less a cancellation fee.
• There is a one-time Registration Fee of $195 (non-refundable), which covers your four headshots in your "ImageStarter Photo Pack" (smiley, serious, three-quarters, and one more), plus class materials such as your Power Portfolio Acting Notebook, reel production, media (CDs, DVDs, etc), and all copies.

Tips for Success in the Program

• To ensure that you enjoy the full experience of performance education and expression, and also that your money is well spent, you are encouraged to:

• Set up a daily, uninterrupted practice time. Even 20 minutes a day will put you leagues ahead of 90 percent of actors, and will maximize your fun and progress!
• Direct all of your internet casting and networking sites to the same email that you always use for your acting life. Check it morning, noon, and night, or better yet, get updates on your phone!
  
• Keep your Power Portfolio notebook updated with all your notes, monologues, and scenes so you can use them again. Also, keep your Audition Log updated so you can be organized and scientific about improving your auditions and booking ratio!
